BM News
Brock Management and BM Kids have been very busy over the last few months. We continue to attract some wonderful new performers and would like to extend a special welcome to Terrence Hepburn and Lucas Connolly - both very fine actors - as well as the talented actor and MT performer, Vincent Hooper. We are also delighted to represent two talented younger actors, Daniel and Yana Perez, already veterans of the screen at 13 and 10 respectively. Yana has already been cast in the upcoming feature Frozen Moments which commences filming in August.
Another of our gifted young performers, Te Waimarie Kessell, is filming a role in a South Pacific Pictures telefeature called Stolen and will soon be seen on the ABC in the lead role of a new children's series, Kaitangata Twitch. Kaitangata Twitch has just won a Platinum Remi at the Houston International Independent Film Awards and is a finalist in the Prix Jeunesse. Also appearing on our TV screens at the moment is Sophia Emberson-Bain as Vibeca in K9.
Dash Kruck and Maureen Bowra are currently touring with QAC in The Fortitude Project and Cameron Hurry is also performing in another QAC show, Thoughts Have Feelings Too. Maureen, Dash and Dominic Nimo will also be touring with Echelon Productions later in the year. Appearing in My Girragundgi with Canute Productions and touring major centres throughout NSW is Sam Conway.
In more TV news, Hayley Buckley is filming a guest role in the new Channel Nine police drama Cops: LAC and Lucas Connolly has just been cast in Rescue Special Ops. Also two of our great young kids Ben Wheatley and Taryn Saarman will soon be seen in the new LCMs TVC.
We would also like to congratulate Anastasia Surrey, Lauren Orrell and Brett Molloy - all of whom have been nominated for Best Actor/Actress awards in the Queensland New Filmmakers Awards.
